What does my LCV warranty cover?

A Freedom Warranty LCV warranty gives you outstanding protection from unexpected repair bills, paying for the cost of repairs on a huge range of parts and the labour fees to repair or replace them.

Our plans are so advanced that it’s just impossible to list every covered item. That’s why we list only the exclusions – and even then, there really aren’t that many!

What happens if my vehicle exceeds 12 years or 120,000 miles?

The age and mileage parameters only apply on the date that your warranty starts. If you exceed these during your warranty term, don’t worry – your cover simply continues until you cancel or we stop receiving your monthly payment.

How do I make a claim?

Before you have any work carried out, you must contact our claims team on 0800 060 8611 or email us. We’ll need to provide an authorisation code to the garage for the repairs to be done.

How do I take out or pay for an LCV warranty?

You’ll need to purchase a used car or LCV from one of our approved dealerships to be offered a Freedom Warranty plan. Please contact us to find out who your nearest dealers are.

We can take payment by Debit or Credit Card. Your cover starts on the same day as your first payment. After this, it will be taken on or around the same date every month.

Do I need to use one of your garages?

In most cases, you’ll be able to choose from using one of our approved garages or your own. We work with hundreds of repairers nationwide and even settle claims directly with them so you can get your vehicle back quicker.

If you’d prefer to use your own, please note we have a set labour rate that we pay up to so any labour charges over and above this are your responsibility. Your garage may also ask you to pay the bill first and claim the costs back from us once we’ve received the repair invoice and any documents needed.

Depending on the fault(s), your vehicle may need to be seen by a specialist. We work directly with a number of repairers specialising in systems such as engines, gearboxes, turbos, ECUs, drive lines and power steering.
